快播tv students perform strongly in Year 12 Outcome results for 2024

快播tv鈥檚 Year 12 graduates await the next stage of their futures following the release of Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), Vocational Education and Training (VET), and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) results this week.

快播tv continues to show why it is Central Queensland鈥檚 best performing school, as well as one of the State鈥檚 best performing schools, with all 179 graduates achieving a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). This certificate is their passport to further education, training and employment.

The School鈥檚 Dux, and Vice Captain, Lachlan Wilson received an impressive ATAR of 99.85 while School Captain Martha Dingle received an ATAR of 99.80.

Lachlan plans to study a combined Bachelor/Master of Engineering at The University of Queensland in Brisbane.

鈥淚 absolutely love maths, problem-solving, and the potential to better people鈥檚 lives. Engineering combines these passions into a meaningful pathway for me,鈥欌 Lachlan said.

快播tv reported 44.45% of ATAR eligible students received an ATAR between 90.00 to 99.95, and 70% of students received an ATAR of 80+.

Earlier this week, Lachlan was confirmed as one of the State鈥檚 top students in 2024, when he was named as one of 35 students across Queensland, and the only student outside of south-east Queensland, to receive a QCAA Distinguished Academic Achiever award. Lachlan achieved a perfect score of 100 in 4 of his 6 subjects. He also earned a Certificate of Academic Commendation, for achieving 6 A level results and received a Subject Achievement Commendation for his perfect score in Specialist Mathematics, Mathematics Methods, Physics and Biology.

Also receiving Subject Achievement Commendation awards were Sophie Scown for Biology and Benjamin George for Specialist Mathematics.

Fellow Year 12 students Martha Dingle, Vivash Dixit, Benjamin George, Medha Koduri, Isabelle O鈥橰ourke, and Abenaya Suntharavadivel, also received a Certificate of Academic Commendation, having achieved As in all six of their subjects.

快播tv is also proud to report 100% of the School鈥檚 179-student Year 12 cohort gained a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) on completing their Secondary School studies.

The School鈥檚 Vocational Education and Training (VET) programme is also a key element of 快播tv studies, with 94.41% of students receiving a VET qualification in 2024.

Rockhampton Grammar School Headmaster, Dr Phillip Moulds commended the students, staff, and families for their collaborative work in achieving these results and wished the Year 12 graduates all the best in pursuing careers beyond school.

鈥淭he most fundamental partnership in education is the one between parents, students, and teachers,鈥欌 Dr Moulds said.

鈥淭his collaboration is essential for a child鈥檚 education, as parents who are actively involved in their child鈥檚 learning journey have a significant impact on their academic success.

鈥淲e are deeply grateful for the commitment demonstrated by our parents in strengthening this partnership throughout 2024 and look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts.鈥

快播tv Head of Secondary School 鈥 Academics, Ms Reniece Carter said the data was another powerful example of our students鈥 commitment to learning in a challenging year.

鈥淚t clearly highlights the commitment of all 快播tv staff to each and every student,鈥 said Ms Carter.

Ms Carter said that teachers working with students and parents was a key focus and reason for the success at 快播tv.

Dr Moulds said, 鈥渁 Grammar education was about our students completing their time at 快播tv as the best version of themselves, having grown in character and scholarship.鈥

鈥淭his includes co-curricular activities, service to the community, and the development of students鈥 attitudes, behaviours, and actions,鈥欌 Dr Moulds said.

Dr Moulds said scores are only one measure of student success.

鈥淭here are countless individual stories of our students achieving their personal best and engaging in many different areas across the School,鈥欌 Dr Moulds said.

鈥淭here are so many varied opportunities offered at 快播tv. Not all require high ATARs, and it is pleasing to see the wide spread of interests pursued by our students.

鈥淥ur students鈥 achievements and worth are never reduced to just numbers. We鈥檙e more concerned about each child鈥檚 disposition and their interest in learning. If you have those qualities nurtured in an environment where strong academics and well-rounded development are highly valued, where a partnership exists among students, their parents and teachers, then children are going to do well.鈥

Ms Carter stated the 快播tv 2024 graduates were a cohesive year group, who exemplified the School鈥檚 values of respect, honesty, integrity, endeavour and community, whether that be in academics, global awareness, cultural, sporting, charity or giving to the wider community.

鈥淎s an educator, it was a privilege to work with this cohort, and every graduate achieving their QCE provides them the opportunity to successfully pursue their post-school life鈥, Ms Carter said.
